Hi Guys!

Sorry, unfortunatly I don't know Dutch (I used google translator for reading).
I am from Moscow offroad club www.vnedorog.ru and I have Mazda B2500 for offroad driving.

I use BFG MT 33x10.5 tyres and I have some questions:
1) Susspension lift: Did anybody use washer into reliance wrecking ball? (like this http://www.nissan-4x4.ru/img/posts/17103.jpg )
2) Do you use rear axel locker? Could please provide manufacture and part number.
3) As you know could you please provide any intreresting solutions for offroad tuning for Mazda/Ranger?
Thanks.

Regards, Alexey

Hi,
how did you find us?! Nice, its getting more and more international here. Hope, someone will be able to provide what you're searching for.

don't understand, why your pictures were blocked. But - nice truck!

Are you talking about a plain body lift ("washers" between frame and body) or altering springs and shockabsorbers to lift the vehicle ?

Some of the L200-drivers have a modified trailer hitch, but none of like what the link shows. There were pictures here, but I cannot find them right now. Maybe someone will come up with an anwer...

bye
Elke

Hi Elke

Thank you for responce!!!
There are the same forum for pickup trucks in Russia: http://www.pickupclub.ru/forum/
L200 and Mazda are also popular in Russia. :) Unfortunatly most of our users doesn't use pickup for offroad driving.

I have made a body lift already (2"). And also I have rise front clerence ~40mm( http://www.vnedorog.ru/main/images/stor ... pic_06.jpg )
But I would like to increase it more. I have talked about ball joint spacer. I am going to install a plane between pier and chassis. I think it is more easer than to use suspension kit ( http://partssearch.off-road.com/product ... pid=554781 ) (Does anybody use this kit? ) Unfortunatly, it's too expencive for me. :(

How much to raise the suspension is acceptable?

Thanls a lot!

Regards, Alexey

Hi Alexey,
then I totally misunderstood the whole thing, sorry. Thought the drawing might be a trailer hitch  and your alphabet I can't read.... Same thing with the forum, too bad. Would for sure be interesting, but this way a translation program is very tough!!!

Never heared about the "ball point spacer".
Some of us have a bodylift, some just tightened the torsion bars, to raise the front end, plus a spacer at the mounting points of the rear springs - combined with longer shock absorbers. Only very few have a totally different spring system for raising the vehicle, or even a fully a modified underbody.

But of course, our possibilities for modifications on the vehicle are very limited here, because of the authorities technical inspection... They are very restricting, or your operating license for your vehicle is gone.....

Bye
Elke

Hello :)

I´m only short in time, but to question 2 about the rear axle locker:

I drive a Ford Ranger. Build 2004. Last year I spend my Ranger an australian ARB Air locker Part Number RD123 - see this thread:
http://www.forum.pickuptrucks.de/viewtopic.php?t=2941&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

You can download an latest List from the manufactur here: http://www.arbusa.com/alac/215109.pdf

To the point suspension:

I have additional spend my ranger an OLD MAN EMU suspension as well from ARB australia. Two new leaf springs, two new torsions bars an new shock absorber. It gives in the rear some 6 to 7 cm Lift, front more strength for the Bull bar and much better driving behavior. It is a very fine part from ARB.

Look at this thread: http://www.forum.pickuptrucks.de/viewto ... highlight=

By the way... Very nice Car an nice Bull Bar

Bei mir ist alles ganz brav vom Tüv abgenommen, wobei das bei der ARB Stoßstange schon einiges an Umbau und Nerven bedeutet hat...

http://forum.pickuptrucks.de/viewtopic.php?t=3165&start=0
